Bahamas Open for Business after COVID 19
Welcome to another Bahamas Real Estate brief with Glenn Ferguson. Today we are announcing the reopening of The Bahamas.
On June 2, 2020, Real Estate activity has fully resumed with Real estate offices permitted to open for normal operating hours, and in person viewings permitted with proper social distancing protocols in place.
The Bahamas government has also announced, that they are now taking the necessary steps, to reopen our borders and allow international travel once again.
The opening will be done in a phased approach, ensuring that the proper health and safety measures are put in place. This phased approach is as follows:
Phase 1: On June 15th, The Bahamas will allow entry to boaters, yachters, and those travelling by private aircrafts.
Allowing Bahamian citizens, legal residents, home-owners qualifying for economic permanent residency, and the immediate family members or significant others of any of these groups to travel to The Bahamas through the use of commercial airlines.
Phase 2: On July 1st, all international travel will resume. Including domestic and international commercial flights.
While The Bahamas has always been a prime destination for second home owners, there is heightened interest, thanks in part to the government's successful handling of COVID-19, our stable democracy, favourable taxes and business friendly laws, and the recognition from foreign investors that, Bahamas real estate is a safe investment.
If you’re going to be regularly quarantined, we strongly recommend that you consider doing it, in the Tranquil and peaceful Islands of The Bahamas, where social distancing comes naturally.
So If you're looking to buy, sell or need advice on navigating the market, our Bahamas luxury real estate specialist and Bahamas residency consultant, Glenn Ferguson will be happy to help.
Call or WhatsApp Glenn Ferguson today at, 1-(242)-395-8495, and let him help you find, your peace of paradise in The Bahamas.
